SWIFT payments let you send and receive US dollars (USD) internationally, directly between your MAKE account and a bank account anywhere in the world.
Sending USD internationally
When you send a SWIFT payment, the money leaves your MAKE account in USD and arrives in USD. There's no currency conversion involved, making it a straightforward option for paying someone who holds a USD account at a bank in another country.
If you're sending money in a different currency (like EUR or GBP), you may want to use an external transfer instead; MAKE supports payouts in 20+ currencies through that route.
Receiving USD internationally
You can also share your MAKE account details with anyone (a platform, a client, or a business) and receive USD sent via SWIFT directly into your account. Your MAKE USD account comes with its own account number and routing details, which you can share just like you would with any bank.
SWIFT payments are processed in USD only, in both directions.
Processing typically takes 2 to 5 business days.
