How do I sell crypto via Over the Counter (OTC)?

Selling crypto is currently only available on our web browser, not in the app. If you are on mobile, please use your mobile browser instead of the MAKE app.

Deposit crypto from your external wallet and receive fiat in your MAKE account.
Orders under 1 million USD are handled directly within MAKE.

Select Crypto on the main page, then Top-up and OTC - Over the counter. 

Select the cryptocurrency, the account (The currency you want to receive the amount in), and enter the amount you want to sell. 
(Minimum amount is 1000 USD)

Then, add your Telegram handle at the bottom of the page, and click Top-up.
Review the summary page, and hit Submit request.
The system will ask for your MPIN.

After submitting your request, you will be contacted on Telegram to execute the trade. You'll go through these steps:

1. Transfer the crypto you want to sell to the address shared. Make sure the cryptocurrency, chain, and wallet address are correct. Crypto transactions are immutable and cannot be reversed if sent incorrectly.
2. Once the fiat transfer is received (timing depends on how busy the crypto network is), MAKE will confirm the cryptocurrency price and the amount of fiat you will receive.
3. After you confirm, the trade will be executed, and the fiat will be sent to your MAKE account. It usually arrives instantly, but can take up to 4 hours
