To complete your application, we'll need you to upload company documents, answer a few questions, and verify shareholders who own more than 5% of the company.
You will need to upload:
- Certificate of Incorporation
- Memorandum and Articles of Association
- Register of Directors (Known as Certificate of Directors and Secretary)
- Register of Shareholders (Known as Certificate of Shareholder)
- Certificate of Good Standing
Where to find this documentation:
Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum & Articles of Association, Register of Directors, Register of Shareholders:
In Cyprus, these four documents are issued by the Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property.
The lawyer who helped you incorporate will have provided these to you, so you may have them filed away. If you do, make sure these are signed and dated within any time period.
If you no longer have these, you can request new copies directly from the Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property, or through your company lawyer or formation agent. A small fee applies per document. Make sure these are signed and dated within any time period.
Certificate of Good Standing is an optional document, but it is useful to upload if you have it. The Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property also generates it.
Shareholders:
Each shareholder who owns more than 5% will have their identity checked (KYC). Once you have submitted your business documents, you will add the shareholders.
Each shareholder will receive an email to complete their KYC. They will need to upload their passport and proof of address dated within the last 3 months.
Once all business documentation and shareholders' identities have been checked, your account will be approved. Usually taking 1-3 business days.
